The Institute for Economic Education (IÖB) and its international project partners will present results and experiences from the EU project IMPULS in the course of three conferences to be held in September: How to implement cross-border practical contacts in the regional economy as part of an exchange between schools and companies? What opportunities and problems are associated with it? The open sessions on 18th September in the Dutch secondary school Waerdenborch, on 22nd September in the Educational Curatorium of the Lubusz Country (Poland) and on 23th September in the Ehm Welk High School in Angermünde, Brandenburg, show how close to the border schools their students the economic peculiarities and professional opportunities in the neighboring European country and how can realize practice contacts. Each project partner from the areas of school, university and company will speak. At all conferences, the overarching theme of cross-border school-economy contacts will also play a role as an educational task in a converging Europe. The meetings are aimed at teachers, company representatives, educational speakers and other interested parties who want to share the findings and best practice examples of the project.
